Reblogged this on littlebitsofmysoul and commented:
Were you once filled with people and happy noise?
A home to hopes, dreams, and imaginings
What stories could you tell
Of the happy chaos between your walls?
Where are your people now?
What became of their hopes?
Who now knows their dreams?
Do they think back to this, their old home?
Sad and forlorn and abandoned
Now you sit lost and empty
Slowly reclaimed by the earth
Rendered back to dust
I wonder if I were to sit near
If I would be able to hear
A ghost of an echo
Of a once happy noise?
Sorry if I messed up the ‘reblog’ attempt (from earlier; it came out badly formatted on my site). I created a new entry for the poem and linked back to here.
Thank you for rebloging..Means a lot! Feel free to use my images for inspiration…
